Who Is Ullr?
So who is Ullr, you ask?
A product of Norse mythology, he’s been dubbed by the winter skiing community the God of Snow, the son of Sif and stepson of Thor, the God of Thunder. Cold-loving, bow-wielding Ullr (pronounced Oool-er) is said to be an expert skater, skier and hunter who would glide around the world and cover the land with snow.*
And so here at Mt. Brighton, we look to Ullr for fresh powder and abundantly white winters! Why? Because we love to ski and snowboard, and we want to share our love of winter sports with you!
We've been seeing Ullr poking his head around Mt. Brighton and rumor has it, you'll have a chance to meet him on Saturday, November 3rd at the Welcome Winter Festival!
We will also be giving out prizes to those who dare to dress like him, so throw on your best Ullr outfit (think, Viking Costume) and join in on the fun!
